I think they hide in little glass boxes they have their friends tape them in, then cover the boxes with tin foil so they can't see out. After that they sit forever, cooking and sleeping in their tiny quarters...until they die, of course, at which time they reach the Pearly Gates and have a heart attack (well, scratch that, they're already dead) at the realization of just how many gay and lesbians surrounded them . . . and not only sexual orientation, but an assortment of other people with other things they don't like, as well.
