I learned another word definition today! The origin of the word “routine” means beaten path. (By the way, that is how we get the root word, route.)
Ponder the truth in this. What is aroutine? Blandly doing the same thing we’ve always done, following the same crowd, going through the same motions . . . a pre-paved path that never changes.
Let’s get off the path! Let’s break the routine!
