I’m sending out some link-love to an anti-human trafficking blog that I just found.  Check out The Human Trafficking Project  and read up on what they’re doing.  I’m so thankful for people who are well-informed and share that knowledge with those of us looking for it.

Keep up the amazing work, guys!

Blessings,
Emily

  1. Im doing an informative speech on human trafficking for one of my communication classes. Were you able to keep this topic as just “informative” and not make it “persuasive”?

  2. Eric-
I myself just recently gave my Informative speech for school, and did it on Human Trafficking. I had no problem keeping it informative, as I just defined it, gave statistics and told a couple true stories. My only regret was that I found later that most of my audience was familiar with this topic, and had I known that, I would have steered it a different direction. I wish I would have talked more about how we contribute to this problem w/o realizing it. (which could still be kept informative, just mention ways we do it and give statistics or examples.)

So my advice would be to figure out where your audience stands and then, YES, speak on it. If you run into any problems or need some help, I’d be glad to help!

Thanks for checking out my blog!
    ~Em
