I am content, yet restless.  I am educated, yet naive.  I am decisive, yet change my mind.  I am happy, yet filled with despair.  I am logical, yet a dreamer.

I am a writer.  I am young.  I believe in truth.  I search for wisdom.

In many ways, this blog functions as a journal.  I started it when I was about 17 years old and have kept it on-and-off since that time.  Because of that, you will find entries that contradict.  I am not the same person I was then; naturally, my opinions may have changed.  I realize this is confusing for readers, but please understand that my intent for this blog is to monitor my own growth, not spread certain opinions or gain converts for my ideals.  You don’t have to agree with the opinions expressed in these pages; actually, I prefer people who disagree with me because then we can challenge each other and learn from one another.  I am a passionate, opinionated girl but am the first to acknowledge that I don’t know it all.  To see a list of my passions, click on the “Writing Schedule” tab at the top of this blog.  Those topics are what fill these pages.

I close each blog entry with “p.s. Remember: Character matters” because I am sick of selfishness and want to use my blog to promote good.  It is yet another purpose of this blog and a reminder to myself each time I write and to my readers when they browse that, no matter what topic is being discussed–from the mundane to the controversial–our attitudes, our actions, our character should never be neglected.

Thanks for taking time to read my blog.  Please comment; I appreciate my readers!
